System Frontier 2.26.9 Released

System Frontier version 2.26.9 is now available, delivering critical performance upgrades and enhanced enterprise control for IT automation workflows. This release includes a strategic migration to .NET 10, which improves overall application stability and speed while resolving previous static asset issues. Administrators will also benefit from expanded job history capabilities, including increased result limits up to 10k entries, advanced filtering, and intelligent load distribution that prioritizes smaller job batches under heavy usage.

New interface customizations provide greater flexibility for managing tool visibility and data security. Users can now hide tool names and descriptions as needed and mark specific custom fields as read-only. Security enhancements include adjusted (and now working!) API token lifetimes of one year, moved token secrets for better security management, and improved handling of Collection memberships via the Computer API. These features empower teams to tailor the platform precisely to their operational requirements without compromising on data integrity.

We’ve also addressed multiple stability concerns. Key bug fixes include resolving duplicate computer name issues during import, correcting date formatting errors in AD group membership queries, and preventing unauthorized execution of deleted tools via API calls. Additionally, we have refined error messaging for non-existent objects and fixed search functionality within job history records to provide accurate results immediately as you type.

Upgrade to version 2.26.9 or download the free trial today to leverage these efficiency gains and security improvements. As always, your feedback is crucial to helping us making it easier and more secure for you to delegate PowerShell and Python scripts and build web GUIs for them in your environment.
