Minimum Requirements

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 1
  • .NET Framework 4.6.1

Installation

  1. Double-click the setup file.
  2. Click Yes to the User Account Control prompt as the installation routine will need elevated privileges.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Read and accept the End-User License Agreement and click Next.
  5. Accept the default installation folder or click on the Browse button to choose a new folder.
  6. NOTE: Checking the box for “Automatically install IIS…” will ensure that IIS is properly installed or if already installed, that the required components are also installed.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Under Application Pool Identity, specify a low privileged domain account username and password. This account should match across web servers for this instance of System Frontier and will be used to verify API calls to the back end management service.
  9. Choose a Website Port that does not conflict with any existing websites on the server.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Specify the database Server name.
  12. Click Next. The installer will automatically test the database connection before proceeding.
  13. Provide the management server hostname or FQDN under.
  14. Click Install to complete the installation.
